The territory is spread over a considerable area of around 22 square kilometres and is home to just over a thousand residents and features an array of naturally beautiful landscapes that remain alluring throughout the seasons.

Meganisi, when translated, means ‘Big Island‘ rightfully earning its name as the largest island amongst the Prince Islands cluster that comprises Scorpios, Scorpidi, Sparti, Cheloni and other islands. Together, they form the administrative region of the District of Meganisi-Taphion.

What truly enhances Meganisi’s charm are its lush green bays, tranquil blue waters, and numerous small coves, all providing protection from the wind. Additionally, the island is adorned with secluded exotic beaches and quaint sea caves that offer picturesque views.
